Improving Your Discovery Risk Profile

A Joint Webinar with Scarab Consulting and Access Sciences

Also Presented By: Access SciencesDoes your organization have a tested and validated ESI discovery strategy for responding to litigation matters?

It is estimated that Discovery spend remained constant from 2009 to 2010 at more than $1 million dollars per organization annually, with Fortune 100 firms spending several million annually, and nearly half of all companies budgeting for discovery to some extent. However, most organizations are not deploying or do not know if they are deploying discovery cost-control measures!!!

Proficiency in e-Discovery is now the standard expected by the courts when responding to U.S. litigation. On September 9, Magistrate Judge Paul W. Grimm of the District of Maryland wrote another opinion in Victor Stanley, a case that has become the poster child for e-discovery misconduct, Victor Stanley, Inc. v. Creative Pipe, Inc., et al. (D. MD., Sept. 9, 2010). Facts underlying the sanctions motion led Judge Grimm to enter sanctions of a severity never seen before.
