Samsung Electronics of America Selects Scarab Consulting's Proprietary Technologies for Processing

Samsung has selected to use Scarab's proprietary technology — DigIt — to process their data.

Houston, Texas, August 20, 2008 — In an effort to mitigate the ever expanding cost of litigation, Samsung Electronics of America has selected to use DigIT to search through and cull their electronic data. Samsung's General Counsel has recognized the cost saving benefits of using DigIT to find all potentially responsive data prior to going to review.

DigIT is Scarab's proprietary tool for performing keyword searches as well as meta-data filtering of all loose files and emails. DigIT enables attorneys to cull their datasets down to only the files that are potentially responsive to a litigation matter, significantly reducing the amount of data that enters in to first attorney review.
